Dr.
Mumfrey was born and raised in the wonderful city of
New Orleans, Louisiana. He graduated from The University
of New Orleans where he earned a B.S. in Biological Sciences.
From there he attended Louisiana State University Health
Sciences Center School of Medicine receiving his Doctor
of Medicine in 2001. Dr. Mumfrey was then trained in
the art of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the world renowned
Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He then
started his private practice in South Austin in 2005.
In his practice he is absolutely committed to providing
thorough and compassionate care to women of all ages.
His special interests lie in High-Risk Obstetrics, Infertility,
Menopause and Gynecological Surgery. His time away from
the office is spent with his lovely wife Julie and their
two dogs Maggie Mae and Emily Jane. Together they enjoy
traveling, hiking, biking and cooking.
